Medical Imaging Technologist

Penticton Regional Hospital is seeking a Medical Radiography Technologist to join the Medical Imaging Department on a casual basis.
This opportunity can include on-call shifts. Casual employment means work requirements can vary between zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call basis and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. Opportunity to apply for regular employment positions within the internal recruitment job posting process.Shifts will be days, evenings, and/or nights. Availability to pick up short call is considered an asset.

What You Will DoOur Medical Radiography Technologists perform X-ray exams in a multi-disciplinary setting to clients within a variety of inpatient settings, including, but not limited to: ICU, ED, OR, and PAR.
This position includes work with outpatients at PRH and at smaller satellite sites in the South Okanagan. Additional shifts can be picked up.How You Will Make a Difference

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
