Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equestrian Coach to join our team at Yard and Groom. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our riding lessons, training programs, and horse care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective riding lesson plans for students of all skill levels.
  • Oversee the health and well-being of our horses, ensuring their care and maintenance meet the highest standards.
  • Manage the scheduling and booking of riding lessons, as well as the hiring and training of new coaches.
  • Coach students in group lessons, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their riding goals.
  • Train and exercise our horses, ensuring they are fit and ready for riding lessons.
  • Assist with the breeding and handling of young stock, including lessons and training.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Equestrian Coach or Riding Instructor.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective riding lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, coaches, and horse owners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of horse care and maintenance, including feeding, grooming, and veterinary care.
