Job Title: Stair Builder and Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Stair Builder and Carpenter to join our team at Sehmbi Woodcraft 2006 LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building and installing staircases, floors, and other wooden structures in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
