Opportunity Overview

The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Unit Aide. As a Unit Aide, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with patients and clinical staff in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Your role will involve providing support with daily activities such as feeding, portering, redirecting, and monitoring. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to patients whose families are not able to be with them.

Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
Work Environment

We have two locations to meet Muskoka's healthcare needs: South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) in Bracebridge and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) in Huntsville.
