Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Guest Plumbing and Heating. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices in the trade.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • Plumber Trade Certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Judgment and team player.
