Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Supervisor to join our team at RS. As a key member of our Culinary Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Order, maintain, transfer, and ensure quality inventory of protein, produce, dry goods, and cleaning supplies.
  • Team Leadership: Provide hands-on support, training, and direction to Cooks while on station to ensure final product quality and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Taste test food for quality assurance under day duty responsibility.
  • Closing Procedures: Primary for closing the kitchen, ensuring accurate closing procedures are followed.
  • Reporting: Report all equipment problems/maintenance concerns and food product discrepancies to the Manager.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with food safety and health and safety standards.
  • Storage and Rotation: Ensure proper storage of all food ingredients in their respective areas, using accurate rotation.
  • Task Prioritization: Prioritize and organize tasks for speed and quality assurance.
  • Teamwork: Contribute positively to a team-focused environment and maintain a proactive and positive relationship with FOH to ensure guest satisfaction is optimal.
  • Compliance: Follow all RS Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Culinary Experience: Previous culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the need arises.
  • Technical Skills: POS and inventory system experience is an asset.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced multifaceted environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
