Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality health services in our region.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret medication orders and prescriptions, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing and compounding of medications.
- Assess prescriptions for therapeutic suitability and communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members for prescription clarification and problem resolution.
- Participate in medication use evaluation projects, quality control activities, and contribute to internal publications and clinical drug trials.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and resolve drug therapy problems and achieve patient care outcomes.
- Current license of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
- At least one year of related work in a hospital pharmacy, desirable.
