  • Conduct thorough evaluations of plans in preparation for biannual reporting and maintain a detailed spreadsheet to ensure precise reporting.
  • Review and confirm compliance with OSFI regulatory requirements concerning the recovery time objective process.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to implement a governance framework that encompasses the entire business continuity lifecycle, including the development and enhancement of business continuity management programs and systems.
  • Assist the Senior Manager and Director of the BCMU as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), focusing on the ongoing upkeep and continuous enhancement of the Business Continuity Management function.
  • Lead and engage with both internal and external stakeholders on processes centered around Business Continuity Management, aiming to create an improved end state by:
    1. Contributing to and/or reviewing BCM materials and documents, including but not limited to the BCM Policy, Mandate, Training materials, and Planner's Guide, ensuring content is relevant to target audiences and aligns with overall program objectives.
    2. Acting as a collaborative and strategic partner to business lines to enhance their readiness for incidents that may disrupt their operations by conducting health checks on plans and/or the BCP application data.
    3. Maintaining essential notification lists, training schedules, and on-call rosters.
    4. Administering updates to business continuity plans.
