Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Platinum Transport Group Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
  2. Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  3. Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting, to support business decision-making.
  4. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budget variances and forecasting.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
  7. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  8. Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  9. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  2. 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
