Vitality Health Foods is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supervisor, Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials into and out of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Generate and submit accurate and timely reports to management on shipping and receiving activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Logistics Planning: Plan and coordinate the logistics of shipping and receiving to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or coordinator role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
