Role OverviewAs a Payroll Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Payroll Processing: Execute payroll processing tasks with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy levels exceed 99.95% and timeliness is maintained at 99.95%.
- Stock and Relocation Management: Efficiently process stock vesting and relocation entries as they are received.
- Regulatory Compliance: Remain informed about payroll parameters and statutory changes in the US and Canada to ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the HR Service Center, local HR teams, and payroll vendors to facilitate daily payroll operations and resolve any payroll-related inquiries.
- Task Management: Follow up on assignments from the Payroll Manager and address daily payroll issues raised by stakeholders.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with various departments, including LTI, ESPP, HRIS, and HRSC, on payroll-related matters.
- Project Involvement: Undertake additional projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager.
- Complex Issue Resolution: Independently manage and resolve complex payroll challenges.
- Financial Responsibility: Oversee funding amounts up to $100 million for ongoing payroll operations.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive payroll experience.
- Proficiency in Workday software.
- Experience handling multi-state payroll.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
- Experience with Canadian payroll, stock options, ESPP, and relocation processes.
