Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Draft and respond to correspondence, pleadings, and financial disclosures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Prepare for mediation, trials, and evidentiary hearings, developing strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
  • Track billable time and assist supervising lawyers, contributing to the success of our team.
Requirements:
  • Admission to the Ontario Bar, demonstrating a strong understanding of family law principles.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in family law, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
