About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Journalist to join our team at Black Press Media in Whitehorse, Yukon. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our online and print publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that meets the needs of our audience and aligns with our company's goals.
  • Write and edit articles, news stories, and feature pieces for our publications.
  • Produce high-quality video and audio content for our online platforms.
  • Collaborate with our editorial team to plan and execute multimedia projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in the region, and pitch story ideas to our editors.
