Meat Processing Specialist

- Prepare and Clean Meats: Ensure meats are thoroughly cleaned and ready for processing or cutting.
- Custom Cuts: Create special cuts of meat based on customer requests.
- Standard Cuts: Cut, trim, and package various standard cuts of meat.
- Pricing: Accurately weigh and price meat products for sale.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers and sell a variety of meats.
- Training: Mentor and train other meat cutters in best practices.
- Display Creation: Design and create appealing displays of meats, poultry, and seafood.
- Roast Preparation: Shape and tie roasts, meats, poultry, and seafood for presentation.
This role requires a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate along with 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience. The work environment involves exposure to various odours and cold/refrigerated conditions typical of a grocery store.
This is a permanent position offering 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
