About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at G&G Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons and performing various laboring tasks to ensure the successful completion of our roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials

You will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, including equipment and tools, from trucks and other vehicles.

Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding

You will assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.

Tending to Equipment

You will tend to and feed machines and equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.

Performing Laboring Tasks

You will perform various laboring tasks, including loading, unloading, and moving materials, as well as assisting skilled tradespersons with their work.

Installing Roofing Materials

You will assist in the installation of roofing materials, including sheet metal flashings, metal roofs, and waterproof coatings.

Assisting Skilled Tradespersons

You will work closely with skilled tradespersons to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Work Hours

30 hours per week is the standard work schedule.
