Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer injections and provide training as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals to support treatment journeys.
- Verify and investigate insurance coverage and benefits for patients, including eligibility and prior authorizations.
- Gather and document patient information in a professional manner.
- Liaise with insurance providers to explore coverage options.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient healthcare information and stay updated on insurance policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and experience with Patient Support Programs are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset.
- Familiarity with provincial and private drug coverage criteria and the Special Authorization process is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management System is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a paperless environment and manage data integrity.
