About the Aliaxis New Graduate Development Initiative
The Aliaxis New Graduate Development Initiative (NGDI) is a comprehensive 36-month rotational program tailored for recent graduates from post-secondary institutions, specifically targeting those who have completed their studies within the last two years. Participants will rotate through various placements, gaining exposure to multiple facets of the organization over three distinct 12-month rotations.
This program is designed to cultivate future leaders by developing cross-functional expertise and reinforcing our commitment to internal promotions. Participants will experience a range of departments, with rotations potentially including Operations, Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and IT, all aimed at shaping their career aspirations.
A typical day may involve:
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives Organizing and prioritizing tasks for assigned projects throughout each departmental rotation Questioning existing processes and identifying opportunities for enhancement Participating in daily operations and meetings to understand departmental functions during each rotation Overseeing the comprehensive execution of project plans in collaboration with project managers Conducting research on industry trends and best practices, analyzing data, and formulating recommendations through business proposalsThis opportunity may suit you if:
You have recently graduated from a post-secondary institution within the last two years.Preferred technical skills & experience include:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams. Previous internship experience in a manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or corporate setting, with exposure to cross-functional teamwork is essential Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is advantageousYou excel in:
Interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with key project stakeholders Analytical thinking to devise solutions to challenges. Strong problem-solving capabilities Clear communication and presentation skills. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred. Writing skills, including experience in drafting formal reports, business cases, and executive summaries Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
