Welcome to Royal Camp Services Ltd, a premier provider of remote camp and catering solutions in Western Canada. We are in search of a Camp Management Support Trainee to enhance our team. Reporting directly to the Training Camp Manager, you will be instrumental in facilitating the effective functioning of our camp operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative duties including client onboarding, overseeing housekeeping personnel, and resolving client inquiries
  • Conduct daily evaluations of dormitory conditions and provide training for camp attendants
  • Support the management of the camp's supply store, including inventory control and procurement of necessary items
  • Aid the Training Camp Manager with staff scheduling, documentation management, training initiatives, and performance assessments
  • Handle various administrative responsibilities, support the commissary, and assist with housekeeping tasks
  • Employ conflict resolution strategies as required
  • Engage in safety briefings and risk assessments
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Preferred educational background in hospitality management
  • Experience in customer service roles is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office and open to learning new software
  • Access to personal transportation for camp transfer
  • Current First Aid and Food Safety Certification
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Capability to lift weights up to 25 lbs
  • Flexible availability for various shifts
