Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sports and orthopedic physiotherapy, as well as experience working with chronic care and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized physiotherapy programs to address their specific needs.
- Program Development: Plan and implement physiotherapy programs for patients with a range of conditions, including sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and chronic diseases.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Education and Training: Teach patients and their families about exercise programs, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Education: Master's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sports and orthopedic physiotherapy, with a strong background in chronic care and geriatric physiotherapy.
- Certifications: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, and eligible for professional liability insurance.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
