Overnight Support Specialist

Cedar Heights Residential Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Job SummaryThe Overnight Direct Support Professional will work closely with our residents, providing assistance with daily living activities, such as hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing therapeutic programming, promoting life skills and personal development, and advocating for our residents within and outside the agency.
Responsibilities- Provide on-site, client-centered programming, including life skills training, personal and self-help training, arts and crafts, recreation and leisure, and educational programs
- Create and implement therapeutic programming with an emphasis on life skills and personal development
- Advocate for residents within and outside the agency
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Perform cleaning, food preparation, room safety checks, and clerical duties as required
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (completed or in progress)
- Experience working with children and/or youth with disabilities
- Experience with individualized plans, life/social skills programming, and behavioral interventions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive hourly rate ($23.00-$26.00 per hour)
