Job Summary

Calian is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to support the design, development, and delivery of Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop training programs for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF)
  • Develop training materials, including curriculum, assessments, and instructional resources
  • Conduct validation activities to ensure training programs meet RCAF standards
  • Advise on training documentation and assessment plans
  • Assist instructors in developing instructional skills and implementing mentoring programs
  • Design and conduct instructional techniques workshops
  • Conduct needs analysis and monitor training effectiveness
  • Propose and evaluate performance improvement interventions
  • Instruct as required
  • Advise on learning technologies and promote relevant training and education system innovation
  • Supervise instructional developers and personnel in instructional development
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Education or Distance Learning from a recognized institution
  • Two years of full-time instruction in adult education-related employment
  • Two years of experience in design, development, and implementation of instructional programs
Additional Requirements
  • Government of Canada Security Clearance at the Secret Level
  • Ability to work on site
