East Side Grocery Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient inventory system.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a retail business environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Transportation/Travel InformationThe Retail Store Supervisor will be required to use their own vehicle for work-related purposes.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
