About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at DIGI Technologies International Inc. as a key member of our creative department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Graphic Design Team: Supervise and guide a team of graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual communications materials.
  • Estimate and Plan Projects: Estimate time and resources required to complete graphic design and illustration projects, and develop project plans to meet client expectations.
  • Develop Visual Concepts: Create and adapt existing illustrations to meet client needs, and develop storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive, and digital products.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, and work with them to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Coordinate Production: Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, including sub-contracting and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Develop Graphic Elements: Develop the graphic elements that meet client objectives, including sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
  • Establish Guidelines: Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, and ensure consistency in visual communications materials.
  • Prepare Materials: Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements for client review and approval.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in graphic design and visual communications.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Unity3D, Adobe Freehand, Corel Draw, Linux, Adobe Suite, MS Office, WordPress, MS Windows, and Python.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
