Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process inventory shipments, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and management.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance staff to ensure adequate stock levels and support their needs.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including handling and processing of inventory.
  • Utilize company-supplied inventory management systems to track and manage inventory.
  • Purchase inventory and supplies as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operate company vehicles to pick up parts and supplies as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to operations and maintenance staff, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the stockroom.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Forklift experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Working safely is a condition of employment.
