Your Role as a Kitchen Cabinet Sales Consultant:

The Kitchen Cabinet Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers, whether through phone interactions or face-to-face consultations. This role requires utilizing effective sales techniques, design skills, and extensive product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction and successful transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in identifying their product needs and preferences
  • Utilize effective questioning and listening skills to understand customer requirements
  • Provide detailed information on recommended products, highlighting features and benefits
  • Schedule appointments for personalized consultations with customers
  • Use design software to create visual layouts for kitchen and bath projects based on customer specifications
  • Source products and prepare special orders, confirming details with suppliers
  • Maintain the assigned product area, ensuring it is well-organized and up-to-date
  • Stay informed about current promotions and marketing materials
  • Assist customers in locating promotional items as needed
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of kitchen and bath products available in-store, along with an understanding of competitors' offerings
  • Proficiency in using design software (experience with 20/20 Kitchen Design is a plus)
  • Strong sales skills and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities to manage schedules and follow up on orders
