About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for manufacturing, installing, connecting, and verifying wires and electric cables of the aircraft, ensuring quality control and electrical continuity control testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Using technical design, testing reports, and other documents to manufacture, install, connect, and verify wires and electric cables of the aircraft.
- Ensuring identification, tracking, securing, and connecting cables.
- Carrying out electrical continuity control testing and grounding conductors of electrical circuits.
- Verifying the continuity of the electric harness and correcting problems detected using ohmmeters, voltmeters, or other equipment.
Requirements
- Professional diploma in Cable and Circuit Assembly or equivalent experience in aircraft wiring assembly.
- Bilingualism (an asset).
- Strong skills for teamwork.
- Dynamic and innovative, with a strong analytical sense.
- Organized and autonomous.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
- Eligibility to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
