Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical distribution systems, including overhead and underground networks, substations, and transmission lines.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement electrical distribution plans, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical distribution technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including design, planning, and operation.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
