About the Role

As a Caregiver, you will provide care and assistance to residents of autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors' homes, as well as accompany them in their daily activities and contribute to their well-being.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with their hygiene and comfort needs;
  • Ensure a presence with residents to contribute to their recovery or to help them maintain their state of health;
  • Respect residents' rhythms and stimulate their autonomy;
  • Maintenance and cleaning of rooms and common areas when required;
  • Respond promptly and benevolently to call bells and resident requests;
  • Provide comfort and well-being care to residents within the limits of your competence;
  • Propose and organize recreational activities for residents.

Requirements for the Role

  • DEP in Healthcare Facility Assistance or DEP in Home Care or APRPA;
  • Confirmation of equivalence for diplomas obtained outside the country;
  • Current CPR;
  • PDSB;
  • Competency 7 Act 90 (an asset);
  • Good proficiency in French.
