The Sales Lead is a key role model at Build-A-Bear Workshop, responsible for leading a team of associates and driving sales goals. As a Leader on Duty, they oversee the entire store operation, including leading a team, modeling Experience First behaviors, and enhancing the Guest's experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional Guest service.
  • Model Experience First behaviors and ensure the store is always Grand Opening ready.
  • Drive associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance.
  • Audit daily punches to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll and timekeeping policies.
  • Adhere to and enforce all store security and cash management policies.
  • Operate and maintain all IT systems in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws.
  • Invite potential Guests to come in and learn about the store, and utilize this information to help Guests find the perfect product.
  • Contribute to total store results by recommending items to maximize sales and enhance the Guest's experience.
  • Maintain visual and housekeeping standards to create the brand experience unique to Build-A-Bear Workshop.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including Cash Management, Attendance, and Store Security.
