Position Overview
As the Room Operations Supervisor at Accor Hotels, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of the Rooms Division. Your primary focus will be on optimizing room assignments and ensuring that guest accommodations are clean and ready for arrival. You will be instrumental in upholding high standards of guest satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with various hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room Allocation and Inventory Oversight:
- Manage and coordinate the assignment of guest rooms based on bookings and individual preferences.
- Monitor room availability to ensure optimal inventory management.
- Keep precise records of room statuses, including arrivals, departures, and modifications.
- Quality Control:
- Perform regular inspections of guest rooms to verify cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with hotel standards.
- Promptly address any issues regarding room readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to resolve any cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
- Guest Interaction:
- Assist in addressing guest inquiries and concerns related to room assignments and conditions.
- Ensure swift resolution of guest issues to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational Coordination:
- Work in conjunction with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Support the training and development of Room Division staff on room assignment protocols and guest service excellence.
- Partner with Revenue Management to maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
- Reporting and Record Keeping:
- Compile and maintain reports on room occupancy, availability, and maintenance matters.
- Ensure accurate documentation of room inventory and status updates.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Rooms Division role within a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
