Job Title: Journeyperson Electrician

Precision Rentals is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of our surface equipment, well site and camp units, and generator buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance on 400 bbl tanks, horizontal invert/brine tanks, and Gorman Rupp Pumps
  • Conduct electrical systems repair, maintenance, and installation to the Canadian Electrical Code Standard
  • Travel to/from various oilfield leases to install, rig in/out, and repair equipment
  • Clean, repair, and paint equipment as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as required
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and current Drivers Abstract
  • Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and FIRST AID certifications
  • Excellent safety record and commitment to a safe work environment
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Positive attitude and well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
  • A high School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • A vocational post-secondary graduate of an approved certified electrical red seal journeyman program or equivalent is required
  • Electrical Technician certification is considered an asset
