About the Role

First Student Canada-Transco is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, providing assistance as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the bus's safety and cleanliness.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and successful transportation experience.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
