About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team at MALWA FLOORING AND CARPET LTD. as a key member of our flooring installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead Tilesetters: Direct and manage a team of tilesetters to ensure successful project completion.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and direct flooring installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Estimating and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and plan and coordinate the necessary resources.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Communication: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Leadership: Lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the flooring installation industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
