Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Administrator, your primary duties will include:

  • Establishing, configuring, and maintaining essential infrastructure components in both cloud and on-premises settings.
  • Overseeing the lifecycle management of IT systems to guarantee high availability and resilience.
  • Implementing strategies for complex integrations between various platforms to improve system functionality.
  • Monitoring system performance and security compliance to maintain optimal health of all components.
  • Contributing to disaster recovery planning and executing advanced technical resolutions to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in ITIL and Organizational Change (PROSCI, AMPG) are preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five years in systems administration or a closely related field.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team while also being self-sufficient.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring and supporting team members.
  • Expertise in enterprise networking, computing, and cloud architectures.
  • Proficient in data flow diagrams, web development, and application development.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure, Azure Databricks, and Python.

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify infrastructure needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Lead project planning and management, ensuring inclusivity and engagement across teams.

Resource Management:

  • Develop and implement strategic goals and operational plans for agency systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies that enhance efficiency and meet diverse user needs.
  • Manage budgets and address challenges in technical project delivery.

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of all mandatory training as per agency policy.
  • Possession of a valid class five driver’s license.
