Position Overview

Aankia Foods Inc. DBA The Tikka Bar is seeking a dedicated and skilled Meat Processing Specialist to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where precision and quality are paramount.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meats for processing or cutting by ensuring cleanliness
  • Skillfully cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet quality standards
  • Remove bones from various types of meat
  • Divide poultry into appropriate parts
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets as required
  • Grind meats to specified requirements
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, along with other meats, poultry, and seafood
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding atmosphere
