About the Job Role:As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) with Interior Health, you will work in a collaborative team setting, undertaking various responsibilities in Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, and venipuncture.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Conducting routine and/or complex tests using manual procedures and automated instruments
- Inputting data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and associated programs
- Validating and documenting test findings
- Maintaining equipment, preparing solutions, and control agents
- Contributing to training, assessment, and enhancement initiatives
