Job Summary

BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial aspects of contracts, preparing sales invoices, and ensuring accurate accounting for F/X forward contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor budget, costs, and cash flow for projects and sales orders
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers, including Time and Material Billings
  • Account for F/X forward contracts as it relates to projects
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, financial reports, and variance analysis reports
  • Communicate with external parties, including customers, external auditors, and other accounting groups within NPG
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in an accounting-related discipline, complemented by a minimum of 5 years hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Accounting designation or enrollment in an accounting designation program would be an asset
  • Advanced experience of spreadsheet applications, data manipulation techniques, vlookup, formulas, and macros
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Good relationship-building skills with a commitment to supporting a team
