About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Department Assistant at Cotris Enterprises LTD. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products.
  • Stock Management: Receive and unpack stock, count and weigh items, and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders, retrieve products from shelves or stockrooms, and prepare items for shipment or delivery.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Store Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment

Our store operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. As a Meat Department Assistant, you will be working in a cold/refrigerated environment and will be required to relocate to different areas of the store as needed.
