We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Precisionwerkz Canada Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wood products, including furniture and cabinetry, using a variety of woodworking techniques and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form wood components.
- Shape and finish wood surfaces using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, and wood files.
- Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production of wood products.
- Assemble and fit parts together to form complete units, using techniques such as trimming and reinforcing joints.
- Sand and finish wood surfaces, applying veneer, stain, or polish as needed.
- Repair and restyle wooden furniture and fixtures.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
