- Analyze Business Intelligence Operations: Analyze business intelligence operations to identify areas to automate manual reporting processes, establish KPIs, and advance analytics.
- Lead Productive Conversations: Lead productive, strategic conversations with all levels and departments across the organization to drive improvements in business intelligence practices.
- Interview Business Stakeholders: Interview business stakeholders to develop custom short, medium, and long-term roadmaps focused on report automation, KPI/leading indicator development, self-service reporting, advanced analytics, and integration of AI into data consumption.
- Drive Improvements in Business Intelligence Practices: Drive improvements in business intelligence practices through data governance and quality assurance.
- Facilitate Reporting Process Design Sessions: Facilitate reporting process design sessions to identify opportunities for optimization and simplification.
- Document Business Processes: Document current and future state business processes, define and document functional requirements, and conduct information flow analysis and process modeling within and across all disciplines and administrative components.
- Analyze Process Gaps and Information Flow Obstacles: Analyze process gaps and information flow obstacles or system issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Align Processes: Align processes where standardization may be required either from a business process standpoint or technology.
- Translate Business Needs into Technical Requirements: Translate business needs into high-level technical requirements and solutions.
- Prepare and Present Material: Prepare and present related material to project teams, steering committees, and/or stakeholder organizations.
- Analyze Information to Establish Recommendations: Analyze information to establish recommendations for improvements in system effectiveness and efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree: Possess a bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, data analytics, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in formal methods for business analysis requirements gathering, modeling, and diagramming.
- Excellent Communications Skills: Excellent communications skills, including the ability to seamlessly, precisely, and unambiguously communicate with technical teams, project managers, and senior business leadership.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle: Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC) projects.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence Concepts: Conceptual understanding of business intelligence concepts such as SQL, Python, data visualization (Tableau or similar), cloud database technologies (Snowflake or similar), with the ability to navigate databases and read code.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, strong organization skills, good collaboration skills, strong work ethic, initiative, and the drive to succeed.
