Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that the dietary requirements of residents are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food production equipment and preparation areas.
  • Adhere to all food safety standards and health regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Wash, clean, and store all dishes, utensils, and equipment used in food preparation and service.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the culinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification is required.
  • Ability to read, communicate effectively, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under time constraints.
  • High standards of hygiene and cleanliness are essential.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment is preferred.
  • Experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds is considered an asset.
