Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in programming with C++ and Python utilizing object-oriented methodologies

  • Designing user interfaces for both desktop and embedded touchscreen applications
  • Capability to produce clear, well-structured code accompanied by comprehensive documentation

Preferred Skills:

  • Comfortable managing tasks from low-level coding to higher-level system abstraction
  • Familiarity with C# and .NET for desktop application development
  • Understanding of TCP socket programming and cloud computing services
  • Knowledge of multithreaded programming and synchronization techniques
  • Basic understanding of analog circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 1-5 years of relevant industry experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop firmware and user interface software for new and existing instruments such as spectrometers, analyzers, and medical devices, as well as in-house automation and robotic systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
