About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory, market segment, and/or supplier brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to cultivate customer relationships and satisfaction with the service provided
  • Analyze and prioritize sales opportunities to achieve assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and directions, and provide insights to the organization on key product trends
  • Implement and maintain accurate records of sales, competitive activity, and payment performances of all accounts in assigned territory
  • Participate in trade shows, supplier lead marketing initiatives, and other sales-related activities

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure order information is captured accurately and conduct day-to-day sales order entry
  • Assist customers with inventory management responsibilities, including product availability and rotation of stock
  • Participate in sales projects, account evaluations, proposals, presentations, and other sales-related activities
  • Stay up-to-date on company policy and industry trends/developments through sales meetings, on-site training, and licensed producer tours

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline preferred
  • Valid and current driver's license
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems
  • Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive individual with excellent verbal communications skills
  • Ability to travel is required
