Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing product information and recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate sales records for inventory control.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in displaying merchandise, restocking shelves, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Technical Skills: Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, and conduct sales transactions through electronic commerce.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Retail business, cafeteria, or similar environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficiency, positive attitude, organized, and reliable.
