Your Role as a Warehouse Distribution Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Distribution Specialist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Port Coquitlam. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of automotive parts throughout our network.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders, receiving and putting away inventory with meticulous attention to detail.
- Conduct thorough stock checks for wear/damage, promptly reporting any discrepancies or faults.
- Prepare and package special orders according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Utilize hand scanners to efficiently scan bar codes on products throughout the warehouse process.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyor systems, and autonomous vehicles, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to a safe and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends, as required.
