We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused individual to join our team as a Senior ROV Pilot Technician for both local and international projects. If you're looking for a dynamic environment to learn and grow your career, DOF is an exciting opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned tasks under the supervision of the Operational ROV Supervisor, ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, repair, and preparation of the ROV system.
  • Adhere to the DOF Subsea Personal Record of Competence and implement Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment requirements during tasks.
  • Participate in projects and complete tasks as required, following established procedures and routines defined in the DOF Subsea Atlantic quality system and relevant project procedures.
  • Be familiar with the ROV system and operate and maintain it in accordance with procedures and standards.

Requirements

Key Competencies (knowledge, training/education, behaviours):

  • 5-7 years of experience with work class ROV systems.
  • Post-secondary education with a primary focus in ROV (Remote Operated Vehicles), Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanic, or equivalent/related experience or training.
  • Working knowledge of Technical Specifications and Standards within the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Schilling/XLX experience considered an asset.
  • Level of technical knowledge in computer and electronic interfacing.
  • Experience with technical testing and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communicator including language proficiency (reading/writing).
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
