Job Title: Air Quality Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. The successful candidate will lead the preparation of pollutant release inventories and air quality studies, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and interpret data and information from various sources, including client sites and office-based research.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform project decisions and recommendations.
  • Conduct atmospheric emissions inventory calculations and atmospheric dispersion modeling.
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals for clients.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Participate in service development by identifying business opportunities and contributing to proposal writing.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior staff members in areas of expertise.
  • Collaborate with professionals from other Stantec business units to provide environmental support for projects.
  • Ensure project budgets and deadlines are respected.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in atmospheric dispersion modeling, project management, and technical writing.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and clients on behalf of consulting engineering firms.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with proficiency in English and French.
  • Thorough knowledge of Excel and experience with modeling programs such as AERMOD, CALPUFF, and CAL3QHC.
