Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Group Controller, this position is tasked with executing and delivering comprehensive financial analysis. The incumbent will also contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting obligations, alongside additional analytical tasks as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate consolidated financial reports and conduct variance analysis for upper management to facilitate strategic decision-making. Aid in the formulation and consolidation of the annual budget, five-year business strategy, and bi-monthly forecasts. Assist in the creation of financial models for predictive analysis and forecasting. Support and oversee the year-end external audit process. Ensure adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements. Promote and exemplify Linamar's core values and leadership principles. Maintain a balance between customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance. Contribute to and uphold departmental and corporate lean initiatives. Continuously enhance knowledge of organizational accounting practices through seminars, webinars, and professional conferences as needed. Undertake additional projects and analyses as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of two to four years of relevant experience. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. Must be enrolled in or have completed the CPA designation.Preferred Attributes:
Highly analytical with strong business acumen, proven documentation abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, coupled with strong verbal and written communication capabilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Confidentiality, discretion, integrity, and sound judgment are essential. Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities. Familiarity with the ERP system IFS is advantageous.
