About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at 9199-7643 Quebec Inc. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Household Chores: Stock linen closet, launder clothing and household linens, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and pay attention to details to ensure a high level of cleanliness and quality of work.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will work in a non-smoking environment and be exposed to works of art/antiquities/fine art. You will also have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, organized, reliability, honesty.
Language and Availability

We require the successful candidate to be available for shift or on-call work and to be willing to relocate for this position. The work language is English or French, and the work term is Temporary. The hours of work are 30 hours per week.
