Job Title: Department Store Supervisor

CT GROUP ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a highly skilled Department Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our department store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales tasks to team members, ensuring that customers receive a seamless shopping experience.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new sales associates, ensuring they meet the company's standards and expectations.
  • Authorize Payments and Merchandise Returns: Process payments and returns, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, promoting and selling merchandise to meet sales targets.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate team member performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve sales and customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy workload. Must be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.

Physical Demands:
  • Standing and Walking: Frequent standing and walking required.
  • Sitting: Occasional sitting required.
  • Manual Dexterity: Must be able to handle merchandise and operate a cash register.
